Description of Polyurethane and Fire Rated Sealants
| Seal ‘n’ Flex 1 Seal “N” Flex 1 is a low modulus, one component, Class A polyurethane sealant. When cured it will form a tough, flexible seal capable of cyclic expansion and compression movement of 50%(+ 25%) of the original joint width. Seal ‘N’ Flex 1 is virtually unaffected by normal weathering conditions such as rain, sunlight, snow, sleet, ultra-violet radiation, ozone, atmospheric contamination and pollution.Uses: Sealing joints in: Insitu concrete, Precast and tilt up panels, Brick & blockwork, Plasterboard, Aluminium windows, Granite, sandstone and marble, GRC, Fibreglass & Specialty panel systems, Metal curtain wall and Water tanks. |

| Seal n’ Flex FC When fully cured Seal ‘N’ Flex FC will provide a tough, flexible seal capable of cyclic expansion and compression to 50% of original joint width without primer on most substrates. Seal ‘N’ Flex FC is unaffected by ultra-violet radiation, atmospheric contamination or pollution. Its excellent weatherability enables it to retain its original properties after years of exposure.Uses: Trafficable – Plats, stairs, roads, runways, aprons and pavements. Vertical – Precast, blockwork, aluminum, plasterboard, timber and most common building substrates. Pick resistant – Prisons, cells, schools and public amenities. Chemical resistant – Service stations, hangers, aprons and bunded areas. Fungal resistance – Wet areas, wash down bays, food processing. |

Fire rated sealants
| Firecaulk Bostik Firecaulk is a single component, non-sag, fire rated acrylic based gunnable sealant. A general purpose product for construction joints and the sealing of service penetrations in plasterboard, concrete floors and masonry wall constructions. Bostik Firecaulk is a gun grade acrylic based sealing compound specifically manufactured for sealing low movement interior joints (less than12.5%) in masonry and plasterboard to provide a fire barrier for periods up to 4 hours.Uses: Sealing of gaps around pipes, cables, ducts and services which penetrate fire rated walls and floors. Fire rated cable penetration in concrete and masonry. Installation of fire rated sealant in concrete walls and floors. For vertical and horizontal joints, interior or exterior. Application requiring acoustic properties or STC rating. Sealing construction and expansion joints. Sealing joints in pre-cast panels. Perimeter sealing of door and window framing. Sealing gaps between faced and cladding panels to various building materials. For new construction and remedial applications. |

| Fireban 1 Fireban one is a fire rated, single component, low modulus polyurethane sealant curing via air humidity to form a elastomeric weatherproof fire rated seal. This product is normally used on the exterior of a building as it can handle better conditions than Bostik Firecaulk.Uses: Sealing joints in expansion and construction joints in precast. Sealing joints in insitu concrete, block and brick work.
